SQL Database Developer
ZY Solutions is hiring an energetic and customer-driven SQL Database Developer to provide technical solutions to business problems. The developer will maintain existing SQL databases; respond to client inquiries ranging from basic application questions to troubleshooting and debugging complex issues. The developer will be working closely with the sales team, senior developers/architects and clients to devise and present solutions, as well as participate in the architecture, development and implementation process.
This individual will also test and correct errors, refine changes to the database, modify the database programs to increase processing performance, and must have the personality and ability to communicate and interact in a highly professional manner with clients of all levels. Qualifications:
- Expert level SQL Server developer/database experience (2005/2008, DTS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, etc.).
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools including MicroStrategy and Oracle
- Exposure to a variety of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, DB2, MS Access
- Experience with large-scale system design and implementation
- Solid Windows platform/environment experience
- Experience writing/debugging stored procedures and raw SQL queries
- Proven time management skills and ability to wear many hats and think outside the box.
- Effective documentation skills
Additional Desired Optional Skills:
- Microsoft .NET development experience
- VBScript, JavaScript development experience
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM
