Sales Executive
We are seeking a highly energetic, motivated, success-driven Technical Sales Executive. This person will be responsible for prospecting and selling our IT consulting services and software products to enterprise and mid-marketing businesses. Reporting to the CEO, you will be selling very impressive products with prestigious names backed by a consulting firm that is highly specialized and widely recognized for our experience with the products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Development: Build and manage lead generation programs in conjunction with our marketing team and business partners to feed the sales pipeline
- Prospect Qualification: Meet with prospective clients to understand their business need and qualify sales opportunities, focusing on those opportunities that are core to our business and where we can help ensure client success
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to ensure a consistent revenue stream for software and IT services delivery; manage and report on this pipeline through our internal CRM system
- Sales Opportunity Management: Develop relationships at the executive level to successfully build trust, demonstrate value, negotiate terms, and close quality business opportunities on a consistent, measurable basis
- Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and expand revenue opportunities with existing clients.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of current trends in business and technology, and remain sharp in your abilities exploit those trends; continuous improvement of sales skills through training and coaching program
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Computer Information Systems or related field
- At least 7 years of proven and measurable success in solution-based selling of IT consulting services and bundled software sales (This does NOT include hardware sales experience)
- Proven success in developing and implementing lead generation programs
- Demonstrated ability to leverage networking relationships through off-line and on-line methods for quality referrals and introductions to prospects
- A history of generating qualified business from small to mid-sized organizations (with revenues from $100M to $1.5B)
- Excellent business acumen, including strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Solid business ethics
- A dedication to our customers through demonstrated client management
- High level of self-motivation
- Strong organizational skills
- This position may require up to 10% - 20% travel in the Midwest
