Open: MicroStrategy Developer
ZY Solutions is currently engaged in a number of challenging projects in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence area. We are seeking experienced MicroStrategy Developers interested in sub-contractor arrangements or regular full time employment. As a MicroStrategy Developer, you will work with business users to determine their reporting and query requirements. With a clear understanding of the requirements, you will deliver solutions that support the business needs. This will involve report / dashboard design, development and testing using MicroStrategy tools.
Expected Skills:
- 2+ years developing MicroStrategy Reports and Dashboards of medium to high complexity using MicroStrategy 8 and MicroStrategy 9
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating experience in working with business users to define and confirm requirements
- Solid understanding of relational data models systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Netezza, Teradata
- Solid understanding of warehouse design concepts such as Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact Table, Domain Table, etc.
- Experience with MicroStrategy Architect, Administrator, Object Manager and other MicroStrategy components is highly desirable

Open: Sales Executive
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible to generate new business that is in line with the company’s core competencies through solution selling to direct end users, typically at the CxO level. You will be responsible for generating their own leads through cold calling, networking and establishing business partner relationships. You will also be expected to display a strong dedication to our clients by establishing and maintaining clear, honest and direct business relationships with these key decision makers/influencers.
Your sales experience must be beyond just IT staff augmentation. You must be able to properly assess a client’s needs, identify the business issues at hand, and provide supporting information of our past solutions to close new business. You will be expected to take clients through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to presentation all the way through to closing. Although technical staff will support you on sales calls, it is necessary that you have a solid understanding of the technologies and solutions offered to our clients.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- At least 5 years of proven and measurable success in solution-based selling of IT consulting services & software. This does NOT include hardware sales experience.
- A history of generating qualified business from Emerging Enterprise organizations (with revenues from $100M to $2.0B) in the Chicago area
- Ability to structure relationships at executive level and drive results
- Proven success in developing and implementing lead generation programs
- A desire to stay abreast of current trends in both business and technology, as well as the ability to exploit those trends
- Excellent business communications skills, including strong negotiation skills
- Solid business ethics
- A dedication to our customers through demonstrated client management skills

Open: Telemarketing Professional
ZY Solutions is looking for a high energy inside sales professional to join our team. The right candidate will have 1-2 years of successful experience calling high, opening doors, and prospecting for opportunities. Ideally, this candidate will have experience with project-based IT consulting services. As a Telemarketing Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting into mid-size companies in the Chicago-area market, generating leads and lining up sales opportunities for our outside sales team. You will be contacting executive-level decision makers within organizations, uncovering opportunities that fit with our core service offerings, performing a needs analysis and generating interest in our company.
This exciting opportunity will require:
- At least 1-2 years of experience of proven and measurable success in generating leads for solution-based IT services
